About Matt Wallace
An Architectural and Interior Designer with over 15 years in commercial real estate projects and MSc student at Edinburgh Napier University.

For more than 15 years I have worked from one end of the interior fit out industry to the other and bring the accumulated technical and project experience and credibility to each of my clients. With roles in commercial furniture design, award winning architectural practice and a FTSE 100 Corporate Real Estate department, I have experience of developing and maintaining relationships at all levels within commercial organisations – from the boardroom to the mailroom.
I have worked on projects for a range of commercial clients, in sectors including media, advertising, legal, banking, retail, hospitatlity and in the public and private sectors. I have delivered projects large and small, from single office relocations and refurbishments to high value, complex corporate HQ design and fit outs – managing stakeholder relationships, consultant teams, suppliers and contractors.
I am currently a student at Edinburgh Napier University, studying MSc Arcitectural Technology and Building Performance. As part of the bex scholorship programme I have worked to promote the School of Engineering and the Built Environment while working for the Institute of Sustainable Construction - an industry leading research centre in innovative and sustainable construction methodologies, materials and technologies.
I have a practical view of ‘getting things done’ and am able to work across all levels of a project - maintaining a clear vision of strategy while focussing on the detail. I believe that underpinning the successful delivery of any project is good, relevant design which is undertaken to improve people’s day to day lives can be very powerful, rewarding and empowering.
